Plaza de Las Américas: This is first major retail development within 3 miles of this site in 30 years. We plan to make a difference in each and every persons life in south Fort Worth by providing not only the finest bilingual shopping but THE cultural center for social events plus 500 jobs and medical, legal, educational, and financial support for this community. Plaza de Las Américas is a 21 acre shopping, cultural, and professional center which will be 250,000 square feet and is located on the site that formerly was the Texas Steel Foundry. Demolition of the buildings and environmental cleanup is presently in process with completion of the first phase anticipated in September of 2006.
The Design of the Center: The center will have a warm south of the border design with strong architectural details and landscaping. El Palacio will  be a special 18,000 square foot cultural center for weddings, Quinceañera, and other important community events. For a view of the exterior design please click here.
